MEET THALIA

The Founder & Nail Educator

A young passionate entrepreneur on a mission

to uplift others through beauty — whether it’s

helping clients look and feel their best, or empowering students to gain confidence and land their first job.

Thalia began learning about nails in Vietnam at just 16, originally as a “plan B.”

She never imagined it would completely change her life after immigrating to Canada.

Like many immigrants, she faced language barriers,

limited connections, and non-recognized skills.

But through resilience, consistency, and hands-on practice, she pushed forward — learning in real salons, showing up daily,

and refining her craft.

By the age of 20, Thalia co-owned her first salon and built a reputation for clean work, proper technique, and professionalism.

Her awareness to details and high standards quickly led to a fully booked schedule and a loyal clientele.

In 2025, she opened NIIM Beauty Academy in the heart of Montreal — continuing her dream of helping others grow through skill, care, and real salon experience.

Today, the same values that shaped her journey guide everything at NIIM — from the way clients are cared for, to how students are trained with confidence, structure, and integrity.
